On September 11, 2022 the 8th City Council of Yaroslavl was elected; it consists of 38 members, elected from single-mandate electoral districts.
Authorities of the City Council members start on the day of election and end on the day the new City Council starts to work.

Head of the City Council Sergey Kalinin organizes the work of the Council. The Head has two Deputy Heads of the Council – Aleksey Malyutin and Oleg Nenilin. The Head of the Council and Deputy Heads of the Council are full-time workers of the Council.
Administration Office of the City Council, consisting of lawyers, specialists in media relations, organization division and accounts division, maintain and support the daily operations of the City Council.
